It Appears As If BIOSHOCK: THE COLLECTION Is Really Happening

Earlier this year, both a Taiwanese ratings site and the ESRB seemingly spilled the beans on the release of BioShock: The Collection, adding further weight to a theory - which first surfaced after a retailer leak in 2015 - that the previous games are being re-released. However, that's now been all but confirmed thanks to an apparent leak on 2K's website (as you can see from some of the images below).

The page has since been taken down, but the cover art and concept art were saved by IGN first. Adding further weight this game actually happening is a Tweet from the BioShock account stating, "Welcome to Rapture!" As a result, don't be surprised to see an official announcement pop up any day now.

What isn't clear is whether this is a simple re-release of a remaster. The latter hasn't worked out particularly well for the Arkham video games, but players would no doubt like to get their hands back on this franchise regardless of what form it takes. For now, it seems we'll just have to wait and see.
