We told you yesterday about an apparent leak pointing to the release of BioShock: The Collection, but 2K Games has finally made it official. They've worked with Irrational and Blind Squirrel Games to remaster the epic trilogy (BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite) for current gen consoles.
The collection will include all of the single player DLC for the games, and reaches the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th, later this year. As an added bonus for fans, there will also be a documentary series titled Director's Commentary: Imagining BioShock featuring creator Ken Levine talking about how each instalment of the franchise was brought to life. Sounds pretty cool, eh?
Each instalment of the BioShock series has received critical acclaim, so the chance to revisit them here is awesome news. Now, here's hoping we don't have too long to wait for a fourth chapter!
