Horizon Zero Dawn released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 back in early 2017. It's a third-person action-adventure open-world game in which you play as a hunter amidst a world overun with animalistic machines. The Guerilla Games title is quite acclaimed and is regarded as one of the PlayStation 4's many great exclusives. However, that might be about to change.
Last month, rumours emerged which claimed that
Horizon Zero Dawn will be making its way onto PC in 2020. At the time, there wasn't much to the claims.
Death Stranding was once considered a PlayStation 4 exclusive but, near launch, it was announced that a PC release will debut within 2020. The Kojima Productions game and
Horizon Zero Dawn both make use of the Decima game engine.
Later in the month, Kotaku's Jason Schreier bolstered the rumours by stating that he couldn't put them to bed just yet and that he considered the PC release to be a possibility —
more on that here.
Schreier has proven himself to be one of, if not the most reputable source in the industry at the moment. Hence why it now seems all but confirmed that
Horizon Zero Dawn will be coming to PC as Schreier has now confidently proclaimed that it will in his own report —
which you can check out here.
