Just earlier this week, Insomniac Games highlighted the enhanced PS5 Pro features coming to Marvel's Spider-Man 2. One of the biggest focal points was the world environment. Senior Art Director Jacinda Chew explained how the world is "incredibly reflective."

From the windows of the skyscrapers to Spider-Man's goggles, Chew noted that they've always had to make sacrifices when switching to performance mode to achieve a higher frame rate. She revealed that the fidelity drops a little bit so they can get the extra performance. The result is a compromise between the creative vision and the technical limitations.

With the PS5 Pro, Insomniac has worked to achieve high fidelity without sacrificing frame rate. There's higher fidelity, two to three times more ray tracing, a custom silicon AI upscale, and anti-aliasing that helps free up GPU to provide more quality and detail.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is just one of many games to that will be taking advantage of the PS5 Pro's hardware at launch. And the video above gives you a good sense of the types of improvements you can expect with the new console.

The PS5 Pro will launch on November 7th. It's priced at $699.99. There's also the PlayStation®5 Pro Console - 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle for $999.99, although it's currently unvailable.
