Every fan of the Marvel Universe knows that New York City is home to a plethora of superheroes, and it looks like Insomniac Games has done a great job making this true for the Spider-Man PS4 universe. However, according to creative director Bryan Intihar, players won’t see one famous landmark in the Marvel game.
“Sorry but it’s not in the game,” Intihar told one fan over Twitter, who asked if the Baxter Builder would join the likes of Avengers Tower and be a part of the video game.
If you're not familiar with the Baxter Building, it is home to the world famous Fantastic Four, and like the towering headquarters of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, it is a part of the Manhattan skyline in Marvel Comics. Thus, its absence will surely be a disappointment to those hoping for at least a hint at Marvel's first family.
Still, this decision doesn’t take away from the fact that players will be able to swing onto and crawl around a number of locations Marvel fans know and love, including Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum.
