If you watch the two Death Stranding trailers side-by-side,which you can do using YouTube Doubler, there's apparently an important connection that has since been confirmed (or at the very least, endorsed) by Hideo Kojima. The theory was first posted by redditor constablegrimes and retweeted by Kojima.

In the first trailer, the moment where the baby disappears is perfectly synchronized with when the baby appears in the strange device carried by the character modeled after Guillermo Del Toro.

Is Death Stranding dealing with alternate realities, time travel or teleportation? There's virtually nothing confirmed concerning the game's plot but there are literally thousands of theories floating around YouTube, Reddit and Twitter. While we have this connection, what exactly is the significance of the baby?  Is he/she some sort of savior that must be protected? While we await on more details to surface from Kojima's PSX panel, continue to post and share your theories.

Also, in addition to The Game Awards  trailer, a new version has been released which features music by Low Roar, titled Easy Way Out.
