Free League Publishing has announced the latest expansion for their tabletop RPG themed in the world of Lord Of The Rings, The One Ring Second Edition has a new expansion added titled Realms of the Three Rings, the expansion is now available globally through the Free League webshop and hobby stores. Simultaneously, a 5E-compatible version, Keepers of the Elven-rings, is also available for fans of 5E rulesets, bringing new adventures and lore from Tolkien’s Middle-earth into the hands of players using the latest system.
A Deep Dive Into the Realms of the Elves
The Realms of the Three Rings expansion transports players to the fabled domains of the Elves: Lórien, Rivendell, and Lindon. The book provides detailed descriptions of these lands, their cultures, and the immortal guardians who protect them including the Elf-lords entrusted with the Three Elven Rings of Power. Players will also have the opportunity uncover ancient secrets and witness or battle against the escalating threat of Sauron’s shadow as it creeps into even the most sacred corners of Middle-earth.
In the twilight of the Third Age, three realms of the West-elves still endure in Middle-earth. By the power of the Three Rings, they exist as a testament to a time that was. But not only the Elves remember. As Sauron gathers his strength to bring war to Middle-earth once again, he plans a devious vengeance against those who humbled him long ago.
Keepers of the Elven-rings (5E Version)
For fans playing within the 5E ruleset, Keepers of the Elven-rings provides a parallel experience, adapting the same lore and content for use in The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying, Free League’s 5E-compatible game. This version ensures that both Tolkien purists and traditional 5E players can engage with the mystical, melancholic world of the Elves as imagined by J.R.R. Tolkien.
