Don't Expect THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD To Launch Alongside The Nintendo Switch Next March
If you were planning on buying a Nintendo Switch specifically to get your hands on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you'll be disappointed to learn that you're going to have to wait longer than expected.
The Nintendo Switch looks pretty cool, but if your main reason for wanting to get the console (which may now have a price) has something to do with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, then you're going to want to hold off on placing a pre-order. According to WeGotThisCovered.com, the game will not be released to coincide with the Switch due to a number of issues Nintento is still working on.
Among them are localisation issues caused by the size of the game, and it's unlikely that those will be resolved until next month. After that, Breath of the Wild will need between four to six months of testing, and so a summer release seems far more likely. It almost certainly won't be ready by March.
This hasn't been confirmed by Nintendo just yet, but is being reported by a number of outlets. Now, we have no idea which title is going to headline the launch of the console, so chances are it will be a Mario title. With more about th Switch set to be revealed in January, we'll hopefully get more details then.
