In just five days, Xbox LIVE aims to make history and you’re invited! At 10:00 (PST) on Saturday 23rd April, Xbox LIVE and Kinect Sports will attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the "largest online 100m sprint".

Take part alongside potentially millions of other Xbox LIVE members worldwide. To participate, just follow these three simple steps:

• First, to log your participation sign into your Xbox LIVE account, find Xbox Nations on the dashboard, and follow the instructions to download the Guinness World Record gamerpic before the official start time of 10:00 PST.

• Before the race starts, load your copy of Kinect Sports, choose Mini-Games from the Main Menu screen, select 100m Dash and then how many people you would like to participate (1 – 4 players). Finally, select Continue and you’re ready to race in the 100m mini-game!

• At 10:00 PST, run the 100m dash as normal, with up to four people

If being a world record holder isn’t enough, participants will be rewarded with an exclusive Xbox LIVE and Guinness World Record Avatar T-shirt.

There will also be a whole host of other "Play and Win" prizes available through Xbox LIVE throughout the weekend, including:

• Chance to meet and train with WBA World super lightweight champion Amir Khan

• A pair of VIP Premier League tickets for a match of your choice during the 2011/2012 season

• Reebok trainers and clothing

• Microsoft Points

• Free Zune Passes

The Guinness World Record attempt is part of Xbox Nations, a free LIVE weekend offering all members the chance to experience Gold membership features for free from 9am Thursday 21st April until 11:59pm on Monday 25th April.
