Microsoft Games has confirmed the release date for the European release of Gears of War 2. The second installment of the highly anticipated shooter is scheduled to hit Europe on November 17.

This is great news for Xbox 360 owners in Europe. The big question now is when it will hit North American console owners, as an official release date is yet to be announced for the North American market.
