The Coalition debuted multiple brand new trailers for the fifth instalment in the Gears of War series during Microsoft's E3 2019 conference.

These new trailers confirmed that Gears of War 5 will be releasing on the Xbox One and PC on September 10th, 2019. The Coalition’s Rod Fergusson also revealed that the game will be available via the Xbox Game Pass four days prior to its actual release.

The first new trailer for Gears 5 showed off a trippy cinematic wherein Kait Diaz's morphs into several characters from the popular third-person-shooter series. The second trailer showed off a multiplayer versus mode by the name of "Escape."

Another interesting trailer was also showed off which featured a T-800 from the Terminator franchise. This is a character pack based on the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate film and will be available as a pre-order bonus.
