Xbox One owners finally have a chance to check out
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and
Trials Evolution on their console, as both titles are now backwards compatible. Since announcing its backwards compatibility feature, Microsoft has added hundreds of X360 games and dozens of original Xbox games to the list. If you already own either game, you can play it on your Xbox One at no additional charge.
Created at Ubisoft Redlynx,
Trials Evolution is still the best-reviewed entry in the long-running physics-based motorcycle racing franchise, currently sitting at a very impressive 90% score on Metacritic.
The other title, Team Ninja's
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is the third, and at the time of writing, final installment of the main world-famous series. The divisive slasher video game was originally published by Nintendo for Wii U in 2012, and later ported on PS3 and X360 to a rather mixed critical reception.
Without further ado, be sure to take a closer look at both backward compatible titles down below:
Trials Evolution: Gold Edition marks the Trials franchise’s triumphant return to the PC gaming platform. RedLynx’s signature franchise, the Trials series first made its mark in gaming with the 2008 release of Trials 2 SE for the PC. That breakout indie success led to further success on the Xbox, but ever since then PC gamers have been clamoring for more Trials. Trials Evolution: Gold Edition is what they have been waiting for.
Ishigami and Mizuki, special officers in Japan's Ministry of Defense, inform Ryu of these events, who then accompanies them to London. After cutting a path through a relentless onslaught waged by the terrorists, Ryu finds himself face to face with their leader, the Regent of the Mask. Following a ferocious battle, Ryu thought he had fatally wounded his opponent, only to find that his right arm had been cursed with the Grip of Murder: a seal powered by the grudges of all those Ryu has killed. Left unchecked, the curse will eat away at Ryu's arm, then continue until it has consumed his entire body and robbed him of his life. With the curse weighing Ryu down and preventing him from fighting at his full strength, the Regent of the Mask declares war on the entire world.
