For those of you who thought Alien: Blackout was a little too easy the first time around, D3 Go!, Rival Games and Theory Interactive have introduced a new feature that makes the survival horror mobile game a bit more "hardcore."
The newly introduced "Survive" mode tweaks various settings in the game, eliminating saves between levels and the ability to restart a level. You're also given only three power slots to use in an attempt to outmaneuver and outsmart the Xenomorph.
"With only one chance to make it out alive, players will assume the role of Amanda Ripley and guide their crew to safety," the teaser reads. "Once they lose a crew member to the threat aboard the space station, they will be gone forever."
Adding to the competitive spirit of Alien: Blackout, Survive is launching with online leaderboards that rank the top players who can defeat the Xenomorph. You'll also be able to see how you perform after each level compared to other players around the world.
Alien: Blackout is available for mobile devices on the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore. In celebration of Survive mode, it has been reduced in price to $2.99 (down from $4.99) for a limited time.
