Last week,
it was officially announced that Zombies would be invading Call of Duty: Mobile. Most traditional instalments in the long-running first-person shooter series have featured a survival mode in which players are pit against increasingly difficult waves of the undead. Finally, mobile players can join in on the gory fun.
Call of Duty: Mobile is set to be updated at 9PM Pacific Time on November 22nd (via
/r/CallOfDutyMobile). From this time, players will also be able to use controllers again. Controller support briefly featured in
Call of Duty: Mobile back when the game launched in October but it was promptly removed. However, now it's back! You can now use a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One controller to play
Call of Duty: Mobile.
New maps will also be added alongside updates to the game's battle royale mode as well as general bug fixing and weapon balancing. This update will also lay the groundwork for
Call of Duty: Mobile's second Battle Pass — which will become available on Monday, November 25th.
While this update is more on the less cheery side of things, what with the undead infestation 'n all;
Call of Duty: Mobile players should expect another update to drop closer to Christmas which will bring some festive fun to the mobile game —
find out more on that here.
Call of Duty®: Mobile is a new free-to-play game that brings together the maps, weapons and characters from across the Call of Duty® series in the definitive first-person action experience on mobile.
Call of Duty: Mobile is out now for iOS and Android devices.
