Mario Kart Tour is a brand-new racing gae developed by Nintendo and released for mobile devices — in the same vein of other titles like Super Mario Run and Dragalia Lost, to name but a few — which has actually become available today.

In Mario Kart Tour players will be playing through courses inspired by real locations such as New York City, Paris, and Tokyo, as well as some classic courses from previous entries in Nintendo's long-running Mario Kart series.

The game is also a free-to-start title, which means that microtransactions will play a role at one point or the other. With all that said, it is still a Mario Kart title through and through — where players can even drive their karts using only one hand; swiping left or right to control their vehicle and touching the screen in order to use power ups.

Now that Mario Kart Tour has finally become available for iOS and Android devices, nintendo has just released a high-octane gameplay trailer that will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the game.

Check it out:

Put the pedal to the metal in courses inspired by real-world locations as well as Mario Kart series favorites. Put powerful items to use as you tear up the track and go for a high score! A variety of drivers, karts, and gliders can be collected and upgraded! Find the combo that will lead you to victory!

Mario Kart Tour is available for iOS and Android devices today.
