Christmastime is officially here, and with the year the world has had, a lot of companies are making sure this Christmas is extra special, especially in the video game community! The video game company Netmarble knows this and has been hard at work to ensure that this year is even more special for players.
While it's not that old, The King of Fighters Allstar has offered up some great events and collaborations, and that even includes their new Christmas update! A new character that will be included is Winter Love Messenger B. Jenet, who originally appeared in SNK’s Garou: Mark of the Wolves and THE KING OF FIGHTERS XI. Her effects will include a 45% increase in Green Element Fighters ATK numbers and three seconds of hyper armor that lead to two seconds of skill freeze!
Along with a Holiday Exclusive Set Card and a 5-day check-in, there will also be a Winter Fighter Selection Event, and an event called "Catch the Little Thief," where players must catch someone dressed like Santa who is stealing gifts. These events will run until January 5th and 6th. A new team relay dungeon, however, will run until the 10th! A score event will be held along with all of this so players can earn points to exchange for rewards.
The new event will undoubtedly make the rest of the year a lot more fun than before and help break up the lulls that happen during family get together. We would love to hear your thoughts on the event in the comments below!
