Kicking off Madden NFL 26's Ratings Week, EA revealed all of the members of this year's 99 Club, players with a game-perfect 99 overall rating. Usually, there's just a handful of players featured in this prestigious group, but for Madden 26, there's a whopping seven players with a 99 overall rating at launch. And honestly, I don't think there's an argument to be made against any of them.
Here's the list:
- Ja'Marr Chase (WR, Cincinatti Bengals)
- Josh Allen (QB, Buffalo Bills)
- Justin Jefferson (WR, Minnesto Vikings)
- Lamar Jackson (QB, Baltimore Ravens)
- Lane Johnson (RT, Philadelphia Eagles)
- Myles Garrett (RE, Cleveland Browns)
- Saquon Barkley (HB, Philadelphia Eagles)
Looking at quarterbacks, it's no surprise that both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are both rated 99. The 2024 and 2023 NFL MVPs, respectively, both quarterbacks can beat you with their arms or their legs.
Jackson is more of an elusive speedster with a blazing 96 Speed Rating, 94 Agility, and 95 Change of Direction. His Throw on athe Run rating is also 99. Of course, just because he can beat you with his legs, doesn't negate from the fact that he's also a prolific passer with 93 Throw Power, 97 Short Accuracy, 96 Mid Accuracy, and 85 Deep Accuracy.
While not as fast, Allen still boasts 88 Speed paired with 86 Break Tackle and 76 Trucking. Once he gets moving, he's tough to take down. As for his passing stats, he's got 98 Throw Power, 94 Short Accuracy, 89 Mid Accuracy, 92 Deep Accuracy, and 98 Throw on the Run.
Ja'Marr Chase is the first Bengal to join the 99 Club after becoming just the sixth wide receiver of the modern era to win the triple crown last year (127 receptions for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns). In Madden 26, he has 95 Speed and 94 Acceleration, 98 Jumping, 97 Chang of Direction. He pairs htat with 98 Catch, 97 Spectacular Catch, 95 Catch in Traffic, 97 Release, 96 Short Route Running, 95 Medium Route Running, and 98 Deep Route Running.
Justin Jefferson, who finished last season in the 99 Club after being snubbed at launch, is back with 91 Speed, 95 Agility, 97 Jumping, 98 Change of Direction, 96 Catching, 99 Spectacular Catch, 98 Catch in Traffic, 98 Short and Medium Route Running, 97 Deep Route Running, and 99 Release.
Coming off his 2,005-rushing-yard season, this year's Madden cover athlete Saquon Barkley is honored with a 99 Overall which includes 95 Speed, 94 Agility, 94 Change of Direction, 97 Carrying, 93 Break Tackle, 84 Trucking, 95 Spin Move, and 97 Juke Move.
The full player ratings for all seven 99 Club members can be found on the Madden 26 ratings page, which will be updated throughout the week. Remember, players who begin the year rated a 99 overall may not necessarily finish the year there. We saw quite a few players get dropped from the club over the course of the season due to their performance on the field. At the same time, players who may not have made it at launch can play their way into the club as the season progresses. We're not quite sure who is on the cusp right now, but some players who finished Madden 25 with a 99 overall and did not make it this year include Derrick Henry, Travis Kelce, and Trent Williams.
Madden NFL 26 will launch on August 14th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Early Access begins on August 11th for anyone who has purchased the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle.
