An official video-game based on the hit TV series Breaking Bad has been announced. The Hollywood Reporter details Breaking Bad: Criminal Elements.
Developed by Plamee and published by FTX Games, Criminal Elements will be free-to-play - whether it will include microtransactions is unknown at this time, though probable.
It'll be a strategy game intent on throwing "players into the deep end of Vince Gilligan's absorbing, morally ambiguous universe."
Gillian, the creator of Breaking Bad, provided the following statement regarding the project: "[FTX Games] care as much about the details as our creative team, and I have been very impressed with their commitment to building an authentic extension of the series' story universe. I think this will be a fun experience for fans, to interact with characters from Breaking Bad in a completely new way."
No specific details regarding gameplay have been revealed just yet, but the game will apparently even feature prominent characters from the show, and is expected to release at some point this year. Although we can't gather anymore information than what THR already revealed from it, there is a short teaser trailer - you can check that out below.
