Today is a big day for Trainers in Niantic's Pokémon Go as once again players everywhere are going to stop what they're doing to head to the parks to celebrate March Community Day. This month's featured Pokémon is Treecko, as previously reported, and there is plenty for Trainers to do tomorrow with four times incubator speeds running during the hours of 3 and 6 p.m. globally.

Although the journey before them has barely begun, the news has been released for the next event so that trainers can prepare and be excited for that as well. It seems as though players won't have to wait for the next Community Day for another event as Professor Willow will need help researching Weather Condition Pokémon such as Lotad and Castform.

The event takes place on March 30th, one week after the Community Day event, but it will last from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. globally, which is longer than the normal three hour windows for events.
During this time weather-based Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild and research tasks focused around Lotad will be available when Trainers spin the photo-discs at Pokéstops.

So who are the two new shiny Pokémon available during the event? Well, Lotad, clearly, and also Castform. Although Castform does have many weather-induced forms, the only one with a shiny available at this time in Pokémon Go will be the Normal type Castform.

What do you guys think? Are you excited or are you more focused on the Treecko day and what's in front of you for the moment? Let us know below!
