Despite facing a number of technical issues at launch, Sensor Tower is reporting that Call of Duty: Mobile has already managed to hit some major milestones, just days after being released on Android and iOS devices.
According to the twitter account for the analytics firm, Call of Duty: Mobile recently "racked up more than $2 million spent on 20 million installs." The high demand for the fps game has even enabled it to surpass Mario Kart Tour as the top free iOS app.
Like many free-to-play mobile games, Call of Duty: Mobile has a plethora of items available that players can unlock, including such as character models of John "Soap" MacTavish and Simon "Ghost" Riley from the Modern Warfare series. And while many of these good don't require players to use real money to use, many are willing to pay the price, a decision that has led the game to earn an impressive $2 million since its launch on October 1, 2019.
Developed by Tencent Games and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Mobile also boasts a 100-player battle royale mode, which is currently available on iOS and Android devices.
