Detective Pikachu has arrived in theatres at last. The live-action
Pokemon film earned high anticipation following the release of its trailers.
The film will be the first live-action film in the
Pokemon franchise and star Ryan Reynolds as the titular Pikachu. Justice Smith stars as Tim Goodman, who can inexplicably understand Reynolds' Detective Pikachu. Naturally, the two team up on account of this. Their goal is to figure out what happened to, Tim's missing father and Pikachu's detective partner, Harry Goodman.
Following the film releasing just a couple of days ago, it has garnered a mixed-to-positive reception. And that's exactly how CinemaScore's recent unveiled grade for the film could be described. The site recently took to social media (
@CinemaScore) to confirm that
Detective Pikachu has earned an
"A-" grade. The tweet also teases that
"Audiences loved it."
Synopsis: Ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son, Tim, to find out what happened.
