The Rock Humorously Responds To BLACK PANTHER Topping JUMANJI With A Hearty "Wakanda Forever!"
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is the biggest non-video game adaptation video game movie ever but with Black Panther breaking box office records, you'd best believe that The Rock has something to say about it.
No one expected Jumanji to find the level of commercial success it did but with over $900 million at the worldwide box office ($387 million came from North America alone) but Black Panther has clawed through its domestic haul and looks set to easily top $1 billion worldwide. So, how does Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson feel about that? Well, he's not happy as you can see in the Instagram post below!
Okay, so he's only joking about being p*ssed but it's fun to hear his thoughts on Marvel's latest and it's clear that he was a fan of Ryan Coogler's work on Black Panther, going so far as to say "Wakanda Forever!" That's become a cry used to praise the movie and it wouldn't be at all surprising to see it adorning t-shirts for a long time to come. Now, just imagine The Rock in the Black Panther sequel?
He will, of course, be a little busy with Black Adam but stranger things have happened. For now, let us know your thoughts on these remarks from the actor in the comments section down below.
