Adding a Battle Royale mode can generate a lot of money and titles like
Fortnite (which is currently the most watched game on Twitch) and
Ark: Survival of the Fittest are the best examples of successful executing this idea. Techland announced a
Dying Light expansion called
Bad Blood last December and as you can guess, it will bring this well-known PvP mode to the critically acclaimed zombie title.
Techland focuses on delivering a smaller in scale and number of players experience, as it throws six parkour masters into a big area, asking them to collect blood samples and after collecting the correct amount of them, you will have a chance to call a chopper and escape from the danger zone. But don't forget, sometimes your ally will backstab you in order to survive. Check out IGN's gameplay below:
Dying Light: Bad Blood is a multiplayer title set in the Dying Light universe. Bad Blood offers intense and dynamically changing online matches that creatively blend the distinction between PvP and PvE style of gameplay, while retaining the core of what made Dying Light and international success.
Dying Light: Bad Blood will be launched in 2018 as a standalone release on PC.
