After more than a year, Techland, the developer behind Dying Light, has finally broken its silence regarding the upcoming sequel. A fairly short update was released by the develper today, clocking in at a little under three minutes. Yes, it's short.
The update includes new gameplay, a quick glance at the city that you'll be traversing, as well as some of the new undead and human factions you'll encounter in Dying Light 2. The video dedicates most of its three minutes to "developers read mean tweets" before actually offering anything in the way of an update.
While the update video ends with a 2021 release date, the developer didn't really share much else via the update...
While it's been a long road for Dying Light 2, being delayed in January of last year, and its original reveal date back in 2018, it sounds like the Techland is back on track.
