Hades is an upcoming roguelike dungeon crawler video game that is currently being developed by independent studio Supergiant(Bastion, Transistor, Pyre), that was announced for PC(Epic, Steam)and has been available in Steam Early Access since December of 2019.

The game will see players taking the role of a man who has chosen to defy Hades, the god of the underworld, and will be hacking and slashing their way out of the Greek Underworld itself; with the developers promising that Hades will feature Bastion-like fast-paced action, a similar atmosphere like the one seen in Transistor, and Pyre's character-driven storytelling.

As mentioned by the developers, Hades will be bringing together all of the elements that have made their previous games household names amongst fans of top quality video games, and the developer still has some great news to share.

During the Indie World presentation that was livestreamed earlier today, Supergiant Games took the opportunity to reveal that Hades will be officially releasing for the Nintendo Switch this Fall — with an action-packed trailer that shows off gameplay, and even delighted players with a jaw-dropping animated intro that perfectly depicts the true nature of roguelike games.
