One of the biggest announcements to come out of Gamescom's Opening Night Live was the release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. MachienGames' upcoming action-adventure was slated to arrive this holiday season and this week that window was narrowed to December 9th.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC and will be available as a day one title on Game Pass. Microsoft also confirmed the game will arrive on PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025, a move many expected.
Accompanying the release date announcement was an all-new trailer offering fans an fresh look at Indy's global adventure and the tools at his disposal as he faces off against sinister forces. Narrating the trailer is Troy Baker, the voice of Indiana Jones in the game.
"The beauty of a first-person game like this is that we all get to feel what it's like to become Indy," Baker says. "You're the one who cracks the whip, who feels the weight of every punch, and the thrill of finding every clue. Indy is such a unique character. A professor, an archeologist, a brawler, an explore, the quintessential all-around adventurer."
From MachineGames, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, set between the events of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark™ and Indiana Jones and the The Last Crusade™, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle immerses players in an all-new single-player, narrative driven adventure. Blending cinematic set-pieces, puzzle-solving, and hand-to-hand combat, players will embark on an authentic Indiana Jones™ experience around the world to try and defeat the sinister forces working against them.
When the main story is over, Bethesda has already confirmed that the adventure will continue through story-focused DLC in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of the Giants.
