According to Avalanche Studios,
Just Cause 4 will make some changes to the old formula. While the first three games were focused on a bombastic, not-stop action in colorful, foreign settings, the fourth installment is heading into a much darker direction. Avalanche promises that we will uncover the truth of Rico’s father life on Solís and the origin of extreme weather conditions as we spearhead the rebellion to defeat the Black Hand, a military organization responsible for the South American troubles.
IGN continues its extended coverage of
JC4, as their latest video spotlights the biggest innovations coming to the fourth entry. The "9 new things" feature gives us a closer look at Rico's upgraded grapple hook that is now a truly multifunctional device allowing you to attach rocket boosters and airlifter balloons and all of those functions can be combined and modded as you want them to.
Just Cause 4 has also improved the way supply drop works and the menu of choices now includes items specifically designed to be messed around with, from explosive fuel barrels to crazy wind cannons. That's not all, as every weapon in the game now has the secondary fire option that will help you battle enemies that ere more dangerous and smart that ever. Be sure to check it out below:
