Marvel's
Avengers: Endgame is shaping up to be the biggest cinematic adventure ever. In anticipation of the big event, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group, and Marvel Entertainment are putting together a collection that bundles their previously released
LEGO Marvel games.
Announced today,
LEGO Marvel Collection will include the previously released
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and
LEGO Marvel's Avengers all in one package. Also included will be the previously released DLC packs for each game, including
Black Panther and
Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War character and level packs - both inspired by the cinematic films - for
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.
The three-game compilation is set to release March 12, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There was no mention of Nintendo Switch, which is a bit odd considering these games were released on Nintendo platforms in the past. Plus, the Switch just seems like a natural fit for these types of games.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes brings together some of the most iconic Marvel characters, including Spider-man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor, Captain America, and Hulk, as they assemble in a completely original story and take on some of the most menacing Marvel Super Villains.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a sequel, picking up directly from where the first game left off with an original branching storyline co-written by award-winning comic writer Kurt Busiek.
Super Heroes 2 introduces even more heroes and villains into the mix also expanding the gameplay to 18 different Marvel locations accessible through the Open Hub World of Chronopolis.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an all-new, epic adventure and sequel to the smash hit, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. This original branching storyline, co-written by comic book veteran Kurt Busiek, transports players into a cosmic battle across a myriad of Marvel locations ripped from time and space into the incredible open hub world of Chronopolis. Packed with signature LEGO humor for fans of all ages, gamers will go head-to-head with the time-travelling Kang the Conqueror through Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar, New York City in 2099 and many other Marvel settings.
LEGO Marvel's Avengers features storylines from the Marvel Studios' films
Marvel's The Avengers and
Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. It also features a roster of over 200 characters and eight different environments to explore.
LEGO Marvel Collection will launch on March 12, 2019, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. That's just days after
Captain Marvel soars into theaters on March 8 and little over a month before
Avengers: Endgame (April 26).
