To everyone's surprise, developer 2K Games officially announced remastered editions of Mafia II and Mafia III — which actually released a week after the announcement — as well as a complete remake of the very first title in the Mafia series in the form of Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Mafia: Definitive Edition will not become available until late August, but Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition have already been out for a month now, and some users have experienced certain issues that 2K Games has finally addressed.
Addressing fan concerns, 2K Games has just revealed that they have just released patches for bot definitive editions of Mafia II and Mafia III. These patches aim to enhance the games' performance, and to provide players with an even better gamin experience. As per the announcement, these patches should go live at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, so they should be live by the time you're reading this.
