While Bandai Namco is gaining most of their publicity and attention from eager fans for their upcoming fighting game, Jump Force, there is still another title tied to their Shonen Jump roots ready to release later this year, One Piece: World Seeker.  Amidst their panel at Gamescom 2018, in Cologne, Germany, they revealed the latest trailer giving more insight on the story behind the first ever open world environment in a One Piece title.

The game places players in the pivotal role as Monkey D. Luffy, in this third-person action-adventure game as he ventures through "Jail Island," a prison of sorts located in the New World.  There is no word yet if there will be any other playable characters from the series, but the game does feature the full cast of Straw Hat Pirates, as well as featuring many main characters, both friends and enemies of Luffy.

Here's the new trailer that debuted at Gamescom '18:

The Straw Hat crew arrives on Jail Island where an ominous sense of danger seems to be looming. What could have attracted the World Government and the Germa 66 to this place?

There has not been an official release date yet, but One Piece: World Seeker is set to come out for Windows PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One this 2018.
