Jump Force was inititally introduced during this year's E3 and immediately got the attention from a more-than-a-few anime fans, and for good reason as it sounds like a dream come true.
The game is being developed by Bandai Namco and it featured a roster of characters from popular Shōnen Jump series such as
Naruto,
One Piece, and
Dragon Ball.
Death Note characters Light and Ryuk are also making an appearance in the game but will not be playable.
Earlier in July, we found out that
Bleach characters were also being added to the game, and we finally got proper
trailers for Aizen, Rukia, and Ichigo by the end of the month—making fans even more excited for
Jump Force.
Today we get a brand new trailer shown off at this year's Gamescom. In this new trailer, we are introduced to even more characters, as well as new stages, from
Naruto,
Dragon Ball,
One Piece, and
Bleach.
The roster is already featuring Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, Blackbeard and Sabo from
One Piece, Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen from
Bleach, newcomers Gon and Hisoka from
Hunter x Hunter, Naruto and Sasuke from
Naruto, and Goku, Frieza and the prince of Saiyans Vegeta from
Dragon Ball—with Light and Ryuk from
Death Note making an appearance in the game's Story mode.
This new trailer for
Jump Force also seems to be introducing a character creator, which isn't really all that surprising given that Bandai Namco has already done something similar with
Dragon Ball Xenoverse and
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, so fans will be able to customise their own avatar and join Shōnen Jump heroes, or villains, when the game releases next year.
