Tite Kubo has given the Bleach universe a fresh batch of characters. Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed the full lineup of original characters for Bleach: Mirrors High today, and all ten of them were designed by the creator of the series himself. Take a look at the roundup down below:
The new faces are Hachirota Rohbe, Tasuku Nimura, Kuon Hoshimura, Ibuki Kajimaru, Mizuki Gandera, Daikaku Sohaji, Tamesu Gocho, Kanuka Sanakura, Seishiro Ginza, and Soyogi Sukenaga. They join the game's original protagonist, Shirin Migishima, and Shirane Sanari as part of a story that has never appeared in the manga or the anime.
A New Chapter After The Thousand-Year Blood War
Mirrors High picks up after the events of the Thousand-Year Blood War, the arc that the anime just finished adapting. Players step into the role of a customizable Soul Reaper and get pulled into an original story alongside the new cast. That makes it one of the few places where fans can see what happens in Soul Society after Kubo's final arc, with Kubo directly involved in shaping the new characters.
Chiaki Kobayashi voices Shirin Migishima. Kobayashi has become one of the busiest voice actors in anime over the last few years, and leading an original Bleach story puts him at the center of one of Shonen Jump's biggest franchises. Maria Sashide voices Shirane Sanari, and she recorded a video message ahead of launch that comes with its own giveaway:
PIERROT FILMS Animated The Opening
The game's opening animation was produced by PIERROT FILMS, part of the same Pierrot group that animated the Bleach TV series. That gives the game's intro a look that sits close to the TV series, which is a nice touch for anyone coming straight from the anime finale.
The opening theme is "CRITICAL" by suisoh, who wrote the lyrics and composed the song. The arrangement was done by suisoh together with Takahiro Yamada of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, the band behind several famous anime theme songs. Kiyoshi Ijichi plays drums on the track and Yuto Shimizu plays guitar.
Bandai Namco has been building out its Bleach games for a while now. The company released the console fighting game Bleach: Rebirth of Souls in 2025, and Mirrors High gives it a mobile counterpart with a very different focus. Where Rebirth of Souls retold the manga's story through one-on-one fights, Mirrors High uses an original setting and Kubo's new designs to push the timeline forward into territory the manga and anime never covered.
Aizen Joins The Launch Roster
Thirteen familiar characters are playable from day one: Ichigo, Grimmjow, Renji, Byakuya, Rukia, Mayuri, Bambietta, Uryu, Yoruichi, Hitsugaya, Rangiku, Chad, and Orihime. Today, Bandai Namco also confirmed that Sosuke Aizen is joining as [Standing at the Top], with a reveal built around his famous line about standing atop the heavens.
Battles use teams of three characters, with Action Cards, Mortal Blows, and a Soul Drive system all part of the combat. A special broadcast aired today featuring Kobayashi, Sashide, Masakazu Morita (Ichigo), Fumiko Orikasa (Rukia), a secret guest, and host Neki Matsuzawa. Two signed shikishi boards are up for grabs through the #BMHBroadcast campaign, which closes on November 3 at 6:59 AM PST.
Bleach: Mirrors High releases on October 28, 2026 for iOS and Android. It is free to download with in-game purchases and loot boxes, and pre-downloads are live now.
