Prime 1 Studio is bringing Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to its high-end statue lineup, and it is starting with Lucy. The new piece joins the company's Concept Masterline range and is based directly on concept art from Studio TRIGGER, the studio that animated the series.
The statue is listed on Prime 1 Studio's Japanese online store as an exclusive bonus version, limited to 400 pieces. It carries a price of 153,890 yen including tax, or 139,900 yen before tax, with shipping currently expected between March and June 2028.
Lucy Between Two Worlds
The design captures Lucy as she moves between cyberspace and the real world. Prime 1 Studio describes her as the skilled netrunner with a mysterious past who walks the line between life and death alongside David, and says the goal was to show her cool exterior along with the emotions she keeps hidden, all while capturing the atmosphere of the anime.
The statue is produced in 1/5 scale and measures an estimated 39cm tall, 25cm wide and 23cm deep, weighing about 2.23kg. It is made from polystone with some parts in other materials.
Prime 1 Studio says it put particular focus on Lucy's porcelain-like face and on a gaze that looks back at the viewer. Her hair uses a gradient that blends its colors together, the interface on the back of her head has a cold, mechanical finish, and the different parts of her netrunner outfit each have their own sculpted texture.
An LED Base Full of Holographic Goldfish
The base is where the piece really leans into the show. It has built-in LEDs and is designed to evoke the cold, inorganic look of cyberspace. A green cable connects to the back of Lucy's head, and holographic goldfish swim through the air above Night City, which ties the scene back to the real world.
The power method for the LEDs has not been finalized yet. Prime 1 Studio notes that, depending on the final spec, buyers may need to pick up batteries or a USB cable separately.
What the Bonus Version Includes
The standard contents are the LED base and a regular head. The bonus version adds two extras:
- An alternate netrunning head, with eye patterns linked to Lucy's cyberware that show her in the middle of a hack
- A head stand, so the spare head can be displayed alongside the statue
In Japan, the bonus version will only be sold through the Prime 1 Studio online store. A portion of the price is charged as a pre-order deposit of 19,586 yen. The listing is labeled as opening for pre-orders soon, so keep an eye on the store if you are planning to grab one of the 400.
Rebecca and David Are Coming Next
Lucy is only the first of three. Prime 1 Studio confirmed that statues of Rebecca and David will open for pre-orders at a later date, letting fans recreate the story of Edgerunners in three dimensions. No prices, sizes or images for those two have been shared yet.
Prime 1 Studio also took the chance to highlight the anime's track record, noting that the series from CD PROJEKT RED and TRIGGER won Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2023. The statue lands as the franchise is in the middle of a busy stretch, with Edgerunners 2 getting its own Cyberpunk 2077 update and Lucy already starring in the first art from the Edgerunners trading card set.
Would you put this Lucy statue on your shelf, or are you waiting to see Rebecca and David first?
