SHADOW OF THE TOMB RAIDER: DEFINITIVE EDITION Gets Launch Trailer; Release Date For macOS and Linux Revealed

Square Enix and Eidos Montréal have released an exciting, and action-packed launch trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which will become available early in November.

Developed by Eidos Montréal and published by Square Enix, Shadow of the Tomb Raider released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC back in September of 2018 —  getting critical praise from fans and several media outlets; with a very solid 82/100 on review aggregator site Metacritic.

Square Enix announced in November of last year that Shadow of the Tomb Raider would be releasing on Linux at some, at the time, yet-to-be-determined date in 2019, and today they have confirmed that a definitive edition of the game will be officially releasin on macOS and Linux on the 5th of November.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will not only be releasing for macOS and Linux, as the game is also confirmed to launch the same day for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam; including all of the previously released DLC that the developers have released over the last year.

Feral Interactive, the developer in charge of porting the game to macOS and Linux, has also shared an exciting, and action-packed trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, so be sure to check it out down below and let us know what you think about the game.

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will ultimately be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will become available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, macOS, PC, and Linux on the 5th of November.
