In March of this year, Team17 announced a brand-new run 'n gun game in the form of Neon Abyss, which is developed by independent developer Veewok Games, and revealed to launch for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam, GOG).
Developer Veewo Games has described this game as a frantic roguelike title that will see players making their way through dungeons filled with monsters, and armed with an arsenal of fully upgradable guns to make things a little bit easier for them; not to mention fun.
Much like other titles in the gun 'n run and roguelike genres, Neon Abyss will not be a walk in the park, and Veewo Games encourages players to keep trying, since in-game deaths will actually help them unlock other items, and even mini game rooms that keep adding even more replay value.
Today, Team17 has shared an action-packed trailer for Neon Abyss that will give players an even better idea of what to expect. This new trailer also reveals that the game will be launching for the aforementioned platforms on the 14th of July.
The good news don't end there, since Team17 and Veewo Games have also revealed that a playable demo of Neon Abyss has already been made available on Steam — so that players try the game out for themselves — and players can easily download it by clicking right here.
