Josef Fares first revealed his new game A Way Out at E3 earlier this year, and his outgoing personality was instantly infectious. Tonight, at The Game Awards, he took it to a whole other level. After going off on a tangent about The Oscars and loot boxes in video games, Fares finally got to the reason he was at the show: to talk more about his new game.

He didn't offer much in terms of details, just insisting how amazing the game is. Thankfully, we got a trailer which sheds more light on Vincent and Leo, the two inmates who must work together to make their daring escape from prison. As detailed in the trailer below, Vincent and Leo have vastly different personalities which, in turn, impacts their style of play.

In addition to the new trailer, it was confirmed that A Way Out will officially break out on consoles and PC on March 23, 2018. Best of all, because this is exclusively a co-op adventure that you must play with a friend, Hazelight Studios and EA surprisingly have a good deal: when you buy one full version of A Way Out you can simply invite your friend to play the entire game with you for free; no having to buy a second copy. Pretty sweet deal from a publisher known for nickel-and-diming its customers.

And just in case you missed it, here's the game's creator Josef Fares.
