Like the franchise's previous titles, Assassin's Creed Odyssey will take players on a journey into the past as they get the opportunity to explore ancient Greece as either Alexios or Kassandra.

And while we've already seen a few of the different regions in the featured in the game, via trailers and other material, a new video provides us with an in-depth look at the city of Athens.

The footage contains absolutely no dialogue and takes viewers on a tour through every district in the city, from the ports to the various temples devoted to members of the Greek pantheon.

Based on this video, it's unclear what kind of activities or side quests players will be able to take part in, but there's no denying that the open-world environment in Assassin's Creed Odyssey is highly detailed and filled to the brim with gorgeous visuals.
