ASSASSIN'S CREED: THE REBEL COLLECTION: Physical Release Will Apparently Include A Download Code

We may have some disappointing news for Nintendo Switch owners who are anticipating Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection, as new information suggests that the physical release will not include both games on one cartridge.

The information comes from Reddit user u/pedro702 — who noticed that Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection, as listed on Amazon, will include one cartridge for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and a download code for Assassin's Creed: Rogue. 

As of this writing, this could only apply to the European release of the game, although it is very likely that Ubisoft will not be including another cartridge for Assassin's Creed: Rogue in the North American release — which is disappointing for those users who like to actually own physical copies of their games.

Ubisoft isn't the first developer that has included only one game on one cartridge and offered a voucher for players to download the other game, as Activision and PlatinumGames — to name only but a few — have done the same thing with games like Spyro: Reignited Trilogy and Bayonetta 1 & 2. Again, disappoinintg but pretty much expected in this day and age.
