The new console generation is here! The Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 have been released, and technical difficulties aside, it has been a rousing success. The games that have been released on both consoles have helped showcase the amazing capabilities of the systems. Of the many launch titles to have released, Assassin's Creed Valhalla has been one of the best examples of the feats each console is capable of.

Due to some of the criticisms (both good and bad) of the franchise's previous installment, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, developers decided to maintain what worked but drastically improve on any part of the series that wasn't working. As a result, Valhalla feels like a return to a style similar to Origins while feeling like a completely new experience.

With the game becoming one of the highest-selling titles of the new consoles, feeling like a Viking has never felt so good! While the game has only just released, the creators have been hard at work on the new DLC, "Wrath of the Druids". Not much is known of this new DLC; however, a recent tweet from the voice of Eivor, Magnus Bruun, has confirmed that he has completed his lines for the expansion.

This doesn't necessarily speak to the DLC's release window, but it does give an idea of how far into the development Ubisost if at. We would love to hear what you have thought of the game so far and the upcoming DLC!

Set in 873 AD, the game recounts a fictional story during the Viking invasion of Britain. The player controls Eivor, a Viking raider who becomes embroiled in the conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X!
