The drums of war are growing as players march closer and closer to the release of Ubisoft's latest installment to the Assassin's Creed franchise, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla! Promising to improve on the things that worked in the past and scrapping the things that haven't, the new title looks to be a step in the right direction for the series, akin to the release of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Valhalla has shown that it plans to go in-depth with the player taking care of their clan and taking strongholds on their quest to find a safe homestead. This means that new lands will have to be discovered and new enemies overcome while also learning the way of the ancient creed of assassins.
But like any great gamer, there has to be an option to chronicle it all through pictures, right? While most games tend to introduce a photo mode in a later update, Valhalla plans on wasting no time in making sure a picture mode and editor is available at launch. According to the game's Twitter, there will be a photo mode that features a very detailed editor at launch, even providing some examples.
This means that fans will be able to share some amazing snapshots in the future and continue expanding on the legends introduced in the franchise. We would love to hear your thoughts on the addition in the comments below!
Set in 873 AD, the game recounts a fictional story of the Viking invasion of Britain. The player controls Eivor, a Viking raider who becomes embroiled in the conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on November 10th and the PS5 on November 12th!
