The team at Ubisoft Quebec has released new details on May's drop of content for
Assassin's Creed Odyssey – and while it features major and much-desired improvements, it may disappoint some fans.
There's no denying that a brand-new entry in the
Lost Tales of Greece series is this month's biggest new addition. Titled
One Really, Really Bad Day, it follows "
an imposter has been posing as you, tarnishing your good name. You will need to figure out who this person is, bring an end to their scheme, and clear your name" in Lokris. The debuting quest will be available on May 14th and is free for all players.
On May 21st,
Odyssey players will also be able to download the shiny Herakles Character Pack (containing a mighty gear set, a mount, and an axe), Hydra Naval Pack (including a ship design, a figurehead, and a crew theme), and also ask Herakles himself to join their very own ship crews.
The May update (that will be released later this month) will also introduce the following updates:
-
Unique Legendary Lieutenants scale up with the player, increasing their perks over time.
-
Anigmata Ostrakas now indicate their region.
-
Items assigned on another loadout are now indicated with a visual hint.
-
Reduced weekly contract objectives to make them simpler and faster to complete.
