The Assassin's Creed series has a lot history of leaks that ruin Ubisoft's surprises. Kotaku managed to leak the London setting of Syndicate half a year before the official announcement, just like everybody knew what to expect from Origins thanks to a streak of leaked images from alphas and profiles on LinkedIn. The bizarre tradition continues this year with a leak which confirms the previous leak. Yeah.
Right after Syndicate back to 2015, there were talks of a two-year break for Assassin’s Creed and a new trilogy which would grace ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Last year, we had a chance to visit the ancient Egypt with Bayek and after a cliffhanger ending, it seemed that it won't be the last time we have visited ancient worlds. Fans of this idea should be happy, but the rest should forget about visiting China for now, as Liam Robertson, who correctly leaked on upcoming games in the past, strikes back.
According to Robertson, the next Assassin's Creed is heading to ancient Greece and his sources indicate that the game entered full production around the start of 2017. The Origins sequel is allegedly releasing in 2019 after another two-year break for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Remember that it's just a rumor and everything can change in the future, but Greece sounds like a fantastic destination.
