Assassin's Creed Odyssey released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in October of last year, and Ubisoft promised that they would be releasing even more content to the already massive game.
The first expansion for the game was called
The Show Must Go On, as part of the
Lost Tales of Greece series for
Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and it was released about a month after the game launched as a free download for players who already owned the game.
Ubisoft also announced that they would be releasing even more content as part of the Season Pass, which included the
Legacy of the First Blade expansion; an episodic series that would introduce us to Darius who, according to
Assassin's Creed lore, is the first wielder of the iconic Hidden Blade.
Today, Ubisoft has released a gameplay preview for "
Shadow Heritage", which is the second chapter in the
Legacy of the First Blade expansion, where Alexios or Kassandra(depending on who the player chooses) will reunite with Darius and go on new quests.
Shadow Heritage will unlock once players have already completed the "Hunted" chapter in the
Legacy of the First Blade — although the second chapter is intended for players who are at least level 28 or above, and will see players embarking on a quest to free Achaia from the terrifying warlord that calls himself "The Tempest."
