An Amazon listing surfaced the other day which appeared to reveal that Rocksteady Studios are going to be releasing
Batman: Arkham Asylum,
Batman: Arkham City, and
Batman: Arkham Knight within a bundle together.
The listing (which was promptly deleted) revealed that the bundle will be called
Batman: Arkham Collection and release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All of this was unconfirmed information, until now. An official at Rocksteady recently took to Twitter (
@GazDeaves) to verify the info.
Gaz Deaves, the manager of marketing for Rocksteady, tweeted out that
Batman: Arkham Collection is indeed legitimate and will be releasing in September of this year, exclusively in Europe. Deaves also mentioned that the
"Earth 2 Dark Knight" skin will be included. This was an exclusive skin for
Batman: Arkham Knight which was given to those who attended E3 back in 2015.
Batman: Arkham Origins is notably absent from this collection. This is likely because that game wasn't developed by Rocksteady, like the others were. It also wasn't updated to the current generation like
Arkham Asylum and
Arkham City were with the release of
Batman: Return to Arkham which released back in 2016.
