We haven't had a Batman video game since Arkham Knight was released, hence why there's so much excitement for Gotham Knights. While that will put us in control of Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood, a return to Gotham City promises to be a whole heap of fun based on what we've seen.

A promo image has been found on the website of Jin Park, one of the artists who worked on the game.

As you can see, it lists a "Spring 2022" debut, a release window that lines up with what we've heard in the past. It's surprising a date wasn't shared during DC FanDome last month, but COVID has already caused multiple delays, so there's a possibility this is based on old, incorrect information.

As a result, we'll have to wait on an official announcement. However, you'll find any updates here!

"Batman is dead," reads the synopsis. "It is now up to the Batman Family - Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin - to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos."

Gotham Knights will be released in 2022 on all major platforms.
