Over four years have passed since Rocksteady Studios released
Batman: Arkham Knight. Warner Bros. Montreal have been working on a new DC Comics game for quite some time. According to a new report, it's about time for these two threads to come together.
Back in September, Warner Bros. Montreal teased something to do with Batman —
find more on that here. The studio projected images of a symbol which is believed to have ties to the Court of Owls — a fictional cult to do with Ra's al Ghul and the League of Shadows.
Last month came
rumours, from a reputable source, that were inkeeping with the aforementioned teaser and supposed that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Montreal's upcoming Batman game will be called
Batman: Arkham Legacy.
Now, another rumour has emerged from yet another reputable source (via
Push Square) which claims that
Batman: Arkham Legacy will be announced in just two weeks at The Game Awards 2019. The annual awards show is known for featuring announcements and reveals. It will be taking place on December 12th. It's by no means officially confirmed, though, so don't get your hopes up too high.
