The team at PlayStation Europe has finally decided to confirm that
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is a real thing that is coming to PlayStation 4 (and presumably Xbox One and PC) in 2019.
In the game's official announcement trailer, we can take a look at all the improvements made to the beloved 2009 title – as the remaster is being developed at Saber Interactive, the award-winning makers of the recent global phenomenon
World War Z, TimeShift, and
Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
As a reminder,
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered first leaked via a Taiwanese game rating site Game Rating, and was later confirmed by the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee and Epic Games Korea. While the brand-new remaster is apparently releasing on September 13th, this important information hasn't been officially verified by Mad Dog, the upcoming title's publisher.
