It seems a Kree warrior in a stasis pod featured in the trailer below has fans speculating that it could very well be Ronan. Of course that would only be a notable cameo if the Telltale game was based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, WHICH IT IS NOT. The game will feature an original story that draws inspiration from the comics, not the film side of Marvel. Although it's easy to make that assumption as the game borrows heavily from the costume and character designs of James Gunn's surprise blockbuster.
As first reported two days ago, Episode 01 will be released digitally on April 18, with physical disc copies hitting retailer shelves on May 02.
A brand new story of the universe’s unlikeliest heroes: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.
From Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond, and set to the beat of awesome music, you wear the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord in an original Guardians adventure, where your decisions and actions drive the story you experience.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series arrives April 18th!
