DC fans finally get their first look at Lex Luthor, a mainstay villain from the Superman comics, in the latest trailer for Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Recently, a new Suicide Squad clip was released, and it seemed to indicate that Luthor existed in this DCEU. After today's PlayStation State of Play presentation, we finally have a look at the final product for this Luthor iteration.
Shown off at the end of this new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League trailer, Lex Luthor emerges from a shipping container that the members of the Suicide Squad save him from. In the video, Luthor doesn't say much before Brainiac-controlled The Flash shows up and starts confronting them. Wonder Woman appears just in time to save the Suicide Squad from an impending attack by Flash by rendering the Fastest Man Alive helpless.
"No Matter The Cost"
Experience Rocksteady Studios' (developers of the Batman: Arkham series) upcoming third-person shooter, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which defies traditional conventions in the action-adventure genre. This game is unlike any other in the genre thanks to its innovative blend of the studio's trademark character-driven story gameplay with third-person shooter action.
Learn how Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark became a part of Amanda Waller's Task Force X (aka the Suicide Squad) and why they set out to destroy the Justice League with such reluctance. In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the four DC Super-Villains are thrust into an original story set in an open-world version of Metropolis, where they must stop an invading alien force and the DC Super Heroes who are hellbent on destroying the city they once swore to protect. In the meantime, the Suicide Squad has to be wary of the potentially lethal explosives implanted in their skulls.
In order to freely explore the ever-changing open world of Metropolis, each member of your squad has their own unique move set with enhanced traversal abilities, as well as a wide array of weapons and skills to experiment with and master. Each player's experience can be crafted to their liking, whether they prefer to play solo or with a group of friends in cooperative multiplayer mode.
