During this year's E3, Capcom announced that they would be releasing
Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 on the Nintendo Switch — which is great news for Nintendo Switch owners who are fans of the series, since those games have never been released on Nintendo consoles before.
Capcom then decided to double down,
by announcing the Resident Evil Triple Pack; a collection that compiles
Resident Evil 4(previously released on the Switch), and the then recently announced
Resident Evil 5 and
Resident Evil 6. What makes this collection appealing is the fact that it is being released physically for a convenient price.
One thing that is worth mentioning, however, is that the cartridge included in the
Resident Evil Triple Pack is only including
Resident Evil 4. Players will get a download code that will grant them access to download
Resident Evil 5 and
Resident Evil 6 from the Nintendo Switch eShop; something that may discourage some people from purchasing this collection.
While the
Resident Evil Triple Pack won't be releasing until the
29th of October, Capcom has shared a new trailer for the collection; showing off some of the most memorable moments in each of the titles included in the bundle. So, without further ado, be sure to check out the new trailer down below.
Play anywhere: play Resident Evil Triple Pack on the go using the Nintendo Switch system's handheld or at home in tabletop mode. Two-player local and online co-op: experience Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 locally or online with a friend. Game enhancements: includes a variety of game improvements for both Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. Includes map packs, special costumes, plus the game modes from Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6.
Resident Evil Triple Pack will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 29th of October.
